David Nicol is a retired architect and a St. Andrews resident. He completed his training at the Glasgow School of Art and at the Mackintosh School of Architecture.
Working mainly in oils, David creates artwork inspired by the special light and shade in the East Neuk of Fife. As a member of the Scottish Society of Architect Artists, he has exhibited on a number of occasions and was also more recently featured in the Sproson Gallery in St Andrews.
Membership of the Society is open to all registered architects, past and present students of architecture and those who have worked in architecture, planning and landscape in Scotland. Annual membership is currently only £20, with a reduced rate of £10 for students.
